April 13th, 2009 - Releases and sunflowers...

Hope all had a good Easter, even tho it isn't over for all.

Today, I thought I would post a great event taking place May 24th and it is a afternoon event at the BlackSheep Inn (in Wakefield) JP Ranger will be headlining and a good friend of mine, John Allaire will be getting the party started, in support of Breast Cancer. Prizes and all.

Both are playing for free, I know JP Ranger has offered a Disc to almost everyone that shows up and buys a ticket. Which is real cool, his disc ain't even officially released...looking at a June release party. He is however garning get reviews across the globe.

John will be fresh off his CD release which is the 22nd of May at Club Saw.

Get out and support , it is a great cause and these guys are doing it for nothing. Buy em a pint or 2.

What a great blog to show off some of my band posters. So a couple dates to mark in your calendar.

Cheers All.

April 8th, 2009 - Moosehead and other animals

So as the snow continues to fall. Maybe after, seeing so many band photos, I need something else to look at for a minute or they where distracting enough from the snow. I thought I would share vacation photos (kinda), some nature work I have shot over the years. Something I have never posted nor really shared. Too summertime and those dudes that drive the "Anti-Icing Units". As a side note, I thought people where smart enough to know that smoking is bad for kids, people don't need a law to know NOT to smoke with their 2 year in the car. Yep, they do, it is illegal and pretty stupid and there was this lady smoking away with her little one in the back seat. That's my rant, I thought I'd share.
And to stay with the ROCK theme, check out My Favourite Tragedy and Bassline Station this Friday, and pull a Moosehead back for me. A great set-up to let ya all know I have decorated a wall at Bassline Station with some Killer Live Rock n Roll shots and some candids of your favourite local talent.
Cheers

April 7th, 2009 - Story of the Year

Day 2 of blogging, took me a day to figure out how to post. I think ,I might finally have this. I thought for this blog space for the first bit, I would post images that are old, ones that no one has seen, to outtakes to the ones I have forgotten about. So a quick post for today. With more soon. A couple photos today of "Story of the Year" from Bluesfest 2006. As well a link to the JOHN ALLAIRE 'Bourbon' video I directed with John and did well almost everything else with John, so any other jobs on in 2007.
I shall scan some DVDs for more killer stuff and have it up tomorrow (that is the plan anyways).
Let me know if their are bands or maybe the odd photoshop trick ya want to know.
Cheers
